This workshop is for you if you... :

• are an expat in France

• have an intermediate or advanced level (beginners are ok to join but if you haven't learnt the past tense yet, it might be a bit challenging)

• want to learn vocabulary about Christmas

• want to learn or revise the past tense in French

• want to be more confident when speaking French people

• have questions about French learning in general

During the workshop, you will...

• learn specific vocabulary about Christmas

• practise the past tense in French

• practise all that through speaking activities (in small groups, don't be shy!)

• get to know more expats

• become more confident

Who will be hosting the Workshop?

Bonjour, je m'appelle Laurie! I am a native and certified French teacher and the founder of Frenchie Classes (online French classes for expats in France).

🛫 I was an expat in England during 5 years and I have been an expat in Spain for 3 years. I have been through the whole process of learning English and understanding the culture, and I had to do it all over again with Spanish ! So I know and understand the challenges expats can face when learning a new language and trying to adapt as best as possible to their new country.

I will use English when necessary.

So just in case you were afraid you wouldn't understand, the answer is "yes, you will understand" and you will be able to ask your questions in English.

This is why I wanted to get together expats living in France and give them the opportunity to talck about this special time of year: Christmas!
